New version 1.0.59 of CalenGoo for Android
CalenGoo-Android
A few days ago a new version of CalenGoo for Android, version 1.0.59,
was released (version 1.0.58 was only available for a few hours and
was quickly replaced by 1.0.59 due to a bug regarding the history
buttons).
This update fixes a few bugs of the scrollable widgets and some other
smaller bugs. These are the changes:
- resizable widgets (Android 3.1)
- 5x5 widgets
The 4x4 widgets are now resizable under Android 3.1 and later and a
few 5x5 widgets have been added. So you can now use fullscreen widgets
on Android tablets.
- widgets can be removed from the widget list
Unused widgets can now be turned off under "Settings", "Widgets",
"Available widgets". After changing the visibility of those widgets,
you have to reboot your phone for the changes to take effect.
- optional white background for events in the day view
By default each event is displayed with a white font on a box in the
event's color. Now you can choose a fixed background color (e.g.
white) for all events and a font color (e.g. black). Only the event's
border will still be in the event's color. You can find these options
by turning "Settings", "Display and Use", "Day view", "Use event's
color as background" off.
- new option to display only events with icons in the month view:
"Settings", "Display and Use", "Month view", "Show icons only (events
without an icon won't be displayed)"
This can be used to get a quick overview of your events for a month:
Just assign icons to your important events (
http://android.calengoo.com/pagedoc/pageedit/pageicons/pageicons.html
) and use this function to only show those events that have an icon.
And by turning "Pop-up window with the events of the selected day" on,
you can still quickly access the remaining events of these days.
