Hello!

I have just purchased Calengoo for Android and I intended to use it in a Cozyla calendar. I synchronized my Google Calendar and added a two Week Calengoo widgets (4x4 and 5x5) to the home screen, both showing days as columns.

After playing with settings for a few minutes, I can't seem to fix a few issues:

1. When I touch on an event, the main Calengoo app is opened. I expected to see the event details screen.

2. Because of issue 1, it seems impossible to complete events or tasks directly from the widget and it takes several steps to arrive to a screen where the complete button is displayed.

3. Time is displayed as numbers on each day, instead of a single time column on the left border of the widget.

I would appreciate any help with this issues. Thank you!

Hello!

Unfortunately widgets have a lot of limitations. To be able to display the week view as "day columns", the whole widget is a single image. And when tapping an image in a widget, Android does not tell the application where the image was tapped. So CalenGoo knows only that you have tapped the week widget but it does not know which event you have tapped. Thus it cannot open that event.

So the only way to fix it would be to use a different kind of widget, e.g. the agenda widget. That widget is not displayed as an image and thus supports selecting events.

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Thank you very much, Dominique.

After a few days using the calendar with the Cozyla screen, I have several more questions. I would appreciate a lot if you could help:

1. Is there any way to change the color of the line used to strike out events as completed? The white line is not very visible once the event is in the past and is greyed out.

2. Because of the shortcomings of widgets, we are using directly the app in week view all the time. We have noticed that the red horizontal line that marks current time only moves once every hour. Is there a way to adjust that so that it moves much more often?

3. The notification pop-up covers all the screen. Is it possible to make it so that is only covers part of the screen and thus the calendar view can be seen behind?

4. The voice notifications are fantastic, but they speak out emoticons at the beginning of the event titles. Is it possible to make the voice ignore the icons?

Thank you!

We managed to solve the first issue. We used "Grey out" for completed events instead of "Strike out". Unfortunately, we had to disable greying out past events for this to work.

We still would appreciate help with the other three issues.

Also, we have noticed that, although the complete button appears on the notification pop-up, it does not really work. Events do not complete when we mark them as complete in the pop-up window.
