Is there a setting I'm missing - if I make a new calendar event my keyboard immediately appears and the cursor starts blinking in the field where you name the calendar event, but if I make a new TASK, it's up to me to click the task name field to open my keyboard and get a blinking insert cursor.

Anyone know how I can get Tasks to behave like new calendar events?

Thanks,

Marc

My new task entry behaves the way you want it to, try this setting:

Hello,

I should have known Dominique had created a setting for this! After changing this setting, when I create a new task, the title is selected and the keyboard opens automatically.

When I create a new event, I still have to manually select the title, though. I guess there is an equivalent for events, but I can't find it...

You'll find it in Settings - display and use - Edit view.
