Hi,

I have recurring event (every weeks) and I want to display it the day before. But it's work only for the first event, not for recurrences. It's possible to do that ?

Regards

do you mean that you would like to get a pop-up reminder the day before? It should also work for recurrences. E.g. for an annual birthday you can configure a reminder to be reminded each year on the day before the birthday.

Please try it again and check if you can see the reminder under "Settings > Reminders > Upcoming reminders". Can you see it there?

Kind regards

Dominique

Perhaps more explanation is needed :
- create a recurring event every Tuesday
- activate display up to 1 day in advance

Now:
- event is display on Monday (before the first event on Tuesday)
- event is display on Tuesday (so the first day)
- then only on Tuesdays

Request :
- event is display every Mondays
- event is display every Tuesdays

Hi,

no, I am sorry, that would make things too slow. If you want this, just create recurrence exceptions for your recurring events. I.e. just edit each instead of the next weeks and tap "save" to save the instance as a recurrence exception. Then CalenGoo can take them into account when computing countdown events.

But without this CalenGoo would have to compute the recurring events of the next x days (only 1 in your case but others might set a higher value) and then compute the countdown events for them. On the other hand if there is a recurrence exception then it does not have to compute the recurring events, the recurrence exceptions are already there, as single events that are linked to the recurring event.

So if you want this, please just create recurrence exceptions for your upcoming recurring events, then it should be able to display the countdown events for them.

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Dominique
