WORKAROUND collection

Hi everybody,

as we're waiting for the restore of Calengoo here the collected workarounds so far. Please add more :)

OPEN THE APP: To be able to open the app, you need to be in flight mode. some say, the app would stay active in background and you'd be able to open it again while you're online. Didn't work for me, though.

SYNC: The app is working. All entries/changes are synced with the Google calendar.

WIDGETS: I'm using both the list and task widgets. They both work.

ADD AN ENTRY, even if online:
a) keep pressing the app icon and you're able to add an entry (calendar or task).
b) use the add function in the task widget
c) use the vocal task creation in task widget
...

CHANGE/DELETE APPOINTMENTS while online:
If you're using the list widget and click on it, you can open the appointment directly and not just the app.
To do so, change the settings -> go to flight mode -> Calengoo Settings -> Widgets -> List widget -> scroll down to the entry called something like <open appointment, not calendar>

I'm on a Galaxy S23 android 14 and found that after putting the phone in airplane mode I needed to go to the App Settings for CalenGoo and:

1. Force Stop the running app
2. Clear Cache
3. Battery > Unrestricted (so CalenGoo will run in the background for longer and I don't have to go through these steps as often)
   

Without these steps, the app was still "stuck" in the missing-license error mode. Your mileage may vary.
