I have the watch app installed on Galaxy watch. When I go into the Agenda app, it only shows a button to create a new event. What have I done wrong?

Hi,

usually there should be three buttons: Agenda, New Event and New Task. "Agenda" shows a list of your upcoming tasks, "New Event" creates a new event by voice and "New Task" creates a new task by voice. However, if that doesn't work on your watch then maybe the watch is somehow incompatible to CalenGoo's watch app. It worked fine the last time I tried it and I haven't changed anything. 🤔 Which WearOS version are you using?

Kind regards

Dominique

Is the watch app only for older watches? I have a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and don't see Calengoo having a watch app from the play store via Android or the watch itself.

I have a Galaxy 6 watch, running UI 5.0. I have all three buttons described by Dominique, and they work for me.

Look at other threads here, there are instructions on how to load it on your watch.

Ok, I'll try reloading it

Reinstalled, same issue. Is this still the correct link? https://android.calengoo.com/calengoowear-release.apk

I think that's the correct link. You're installing it on the watch using the (separate) app named Wear Installer 2, correct?

Yes correct. The way it seems, it's as if the first app I run becomes persistent, and clicking the other icons is not causing it to switch over to the other app. But all three apps are present, because if I start with a different one that becomes persistent.

Doing things this way is kinda annoying. Is it even more annoying to get it up on the play store under a beta program?

Hi,

I am currently not actively working on the wearOS app. A while ago Google refused to accept an update for my phone/tablet app because it contained the wearOS app and as far as I can see they did not test the wearOS app correctly (they seem to always have tested an old version instead of the version that came with the update) and so I had to remove it to be able to upload updates for the phone/tablet version again. Nowadays it is necessary to upload wearOS apps as separate apps to Google Play and I didn't try that yet. I am also not sure how much standalone functions such an app now must have. To make the wearOS app available again in Google Play I have to examine it but this will take some time.

I have checked now if I could theoretically upload a beta version for wearOS but the button to create one is grayed out and says that I have to rollout the previous version first. I suppose they don't mean the previous version for wearOS but the current staged rollout of the phone/tablet version. I am currently running a staged rollout to fix the Google birthdays problem ( https://android.calengoo.com/beta/posts/1659.html ). Maybe I can start another attempt to upload the wearOS app afterward but I don't know if it will work without any (or many?) changes.

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Dominique

Seems if I go to recent apps and swipe it away, that also allows me to change functions. So at least I have a workaround.
