Dominique,
I think there is an issue with the "Snoozed Reminders" window. I have a few reminders I snoozed and these snoozed reminders are shown in the android notification panel as 'Pending Reminders' however, they are not showing in the Calengoo 'Snoozed Reminders' window when I call it up. Can you look into it and fix it?
Thanks.

Hi,

but these are different things. "Pending reminders" are reminders that were not snoozed and that are displayed in the reminder pop-up window. "Snoozed reminders" are reminders that were snoozed and are currently not displayed until their snooze time has been reached. Then they will appear as "pending reminders" in the reminder pop-up window.

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Dominique

Thanks Dominique. But, your response is not entirely clear to me. Just to be clear I'm not talking about the reminder pop up window which shows up when a reminder is due or when its snoozed time has been reached instead, I'm talking about the special "Snoozed Reminders" window which shows a list of reminders which are currently in the snoozed state/mode.

I will rephrase my question - When will a task or an event show in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window? What factors/user actions (or lack of user actions) will cause a task or an event to show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window?

Let's say, a task or an event reminder showed up and I did not snooze it instead I clicked on the home button on my phone then the reminder pop up window disappears from view. Will the task then show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window? If not, then how can I view these reminders which have disappeared from view?

If I don't snooze a reminder, will it still show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window?

Do only reminders (which have been explicitly snoozed by the user on the reminder pop up window) show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders"?

If a reminder is auto snoozed by Calengoo because I have not taken any action on it, will it still show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window?

I use this special "Snoozed Reminders" window to see which reminders have been snoozed so I find it useful.

Also, what is the difference between "Pending" and "Snoozed" reminders that you mentioned in your email?

It will show in this window when it has been snoozed using the snooze function (the blue button in each line in the pop-up window).

Let's say, a task or an event reminder showed up and I did not snooze it instead I clicked on the home button on my phone then the reminder pop up window disappears from view. No, this won't snooze the reminder. It will stay in the reminder pop-up window, which can be re-opened by selecting the status bar notification.

Do only reminders (which have been explicitly snoozed by the user on the reminder pop up window) show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders"?

Yes

If a reminder is auto snoozed by Calengoo because I have not taken any action on it, will it still show up in the special "Snoozed Reminders" window?

There is no "auto snooze".

That clarifies a lot, thanks.

Follow up question - If the reminder pop up window disappeared because I clicked home button and so now it is accessible from the status bar notification. However, will the reminder pop up be automatically shown again after some time or the only way to access the reminder pop up in this situation is to manually go to the status bar notification and click on the pending reminders notification?

Hi,

the pop-up window will be shown again the next time a reminder is due. Additionally it depends on the "Settings > Reminders > Display pop-up" setting, which can be set to "Immediately", "After selecting status bar notification" or "Not in Do Not Disturb Mode".

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Dominique

Ok, here's a use case and a scenario.

A reminder named "Test 1" shows up and I don't take any action so the reminder windows disappears to the status bar notification. I don't have another (different) reminder named "Test 2" until 2 days later. So, when you said " the pop-up window will be shown again the next time a reminder is due" do you mean:
1. Next time the "Test 1" reminder is due OR
2. Next time the "Test 2" reminder is due

By "next time a reminder is due" - are you referring to "Test 1" (#1 above) or "Test 2" (#2 above)?
I hope it is #1 otherwise I won't see the "Test 1" reminder until 2 days later.
If it is #1, then how "Test 1" next due time is determined?

Thanks.

The solution is #2.

And "otherwise I won't see the "Test 1" reminder until 2 days later." is wrong, because you will see it all the time, as a notification in the status bar.

Thanks. I know that it will be available as notification in the status bar, but my concern is the reminder pop up will not show up until 2 days later or whenever next reminder is due which could be for a long time. The reminder pop up is the key and the most useful and important aspect of all of this to ensure reminder is not missed and is shown timely. I hardly look at notifications in the status bar because (among other reasons) I have scroll through the notification list to try to find the notification I need and this takes time where as the reminder pop up is perfect.

I was hoping the answer would not be #2. One solution would be to allow user setting to repeat reminders (reminder pop up) every x mins or hours if the reminder was not snoozed but it was dismissed/disappeared to the status bar notification. Could you please implement above suggestion of repeating reminder pop up every x mins (user specified) otherwise this is a drawback that reminders would not show again until next reminder is due which could be for a long time (worst case). I missed reminders due to this issue.

Hi,

yes, there is already a function to let it pop-up automatically again. You can find it under "Settings > Reminders > Repeat alarm". Then reminders that were not snoozed (like "Test 1") will appear again at the configured interval.

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have further questions!

Kind regards

Dominique
