Notification Bar Text Color

I've had the Tabs color (Settings Design) dark for the longest time, very used to it like this, but a while back something happened where the text in the notification bar changed from a nice high contrast white to black and I don't know ... where do I find the color control for the notification bar text so I can make it white again without affecting other (black) type)? 

Other apps seem to choose the most opposite value - Calengoo is the only one that has notification bar text that's difficult to read.

thank you for reporting this problem! I few months ago Android required apps to add edge-to-edge support and this also meant that the apps now have to set the font color of the status bar. Usually CalenGoo has a white background there and then the black text is good. But in your case it is really hard to read. Can you please email me your settings?
