No, the errors are not prohibitive. But they should be fixed. Thank you for bringing them to my attention.

are the errors above something to be concerned with?

i have  Rails 2.3.2 and ruby 1.8.7 (2008-08-11 patchlevel 72) [i686-darwin9.5.0] installed on the relevant machine.
