difference between jackrabbit and caldav4j

Hi Roberto,
Could you please explain me what is the exact difference between Jackrabbit and caldav4j projects.

Jackrabbit is a library implementing webdav and other access layers.

Caldav4j is a layer above webdav ( which is a layer over http).

Actually caldav4j is based on slide, another webdav library. We started moving to jackrabbit but its acl-webdav layer was incomplete so I stopped working on that.

If you are interested in the jackrabbit stuff you can check the Jackrabbit branch of caldav4j: if you need support for playing with that branch let me know.
