I should have provided this info at the get-go.....when you bought CWT I signed you up for the CWT discussion group..... and specified the 'receive email' option ... see below.....so far we haven't had any what you might call 'on topic' messages.... but... I'm optimistic......you can turn off the 'receive email' option yourself or email me directly wi...@berkeleyscience.com and I'll turn it off for you.... I"ve also added this info to the www.berkeleyscience.com website for future reference .......

....and .... please don't turn off the email for 1 more day ......till after the "Vol. 2" announcement...!!!!!

....note... actually I'm a little foggy on this email option myself...(I'm a big USENET fan ... alt.music.saxophone....but the old USENET didn't have email)...... so there may be corrections but I think I got it........

The CWT Google Discussion Group

The internet has had USENET discussion groups for a long time, and in 2004 Google acquired the rights to these discussion groups and renamed them Google Discussion Groups. Whatever your interest, it is likely that you will find a discussion group devoted to that subject. Google also made it easy to set up new discussion groups, and there is now a discussion group solely for readers of Calculus Without Tears. The web address of the group is

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/CalculusWithoutTears

How to Read the Google CWT Discussion Group Messages

Go to the web address above and you will be at the home page for the discussion group, you will see a list of topics for discussion. You can read the messages for a topic by clicking on the topic name.

How to Add to an Existing Topic or Start a New Topic

If you want to add a message to an existing topic, or to start a new topic with a new message, you'll need to sign up for a Google account, which is free. Once you've signed up, you can join the group and make your own contributions. Ask questions, assist other readers, share experiences, etc.

CWT Discussion Group Email

When you join the group you will be asked if you want to receive group email or not. If you elect to receive group email, each message sent to the group will also be sent to your email account. If you respond to the email, it will be added to the list of messages for the current topic, and sent to all other group members who opted to receive email.

I am interested, but unable to commit at this time.  I wouldn’t mind receiving the emails, but won’t be able to participate.
