The Calculate Linux team is pleased to announce a new release of
Calculate Directory Server.
Calculate Directory Server is intended for systems administrator who
want to streamline a deployment of corporate services like LDAP and
Samba/CIFS. The Server offers centralized storage for user accounts
and group policies.
Main administration tasks like adding users and configuring services
can be easily done using Calculate 2 utilities.
Changes:
1. DNS and DHCP now can be configured by Calculate 2 utilities:
DNS: cl-dns-recadd, cl-dns-recdel, cl-dns-recmod, cl-dns-zoneadd, cl-
dns-zonedel, cl-dns-zonemod
DHCP: cl-dhcp-hostadd, cl-dhcp-hostdel, cl-dhcp-hostmod, cl-dhcp-
netadd, cl-dhcp-netdel, cl-dhcp-netmod
2. Bind now configured with LDAP sdb (simplified database interface).
3. DHCP now adds host records to LDAP DNS.
