You will gain valuable information about the nature, depth, and scope of the illegal sex industry in our communities, hear from activists and directors of programs directly serving exploited youth, discuss solutions, and have opportunities to network with organizations doing work to end sexual oppression. The best leaders of any movement are those that care deeply about the health and wellbeing of every member of the community (locally and and expanding outward.) We encourage you to invite anyone invested in seeing the cities of Oakland, Richmond, and Berkeley be transformed, restored, and free. Ending trafficking and sexual exploitation in Alameda County is apart of a larger issue of ending violence and oppression! We gladly welcome any and all involved in social work, anti-poverty work, and work around gender, class, and economic justice.
