In addition to new aluminum jogwheels and upgrading the controls to match advances in Traktor Pro, both units are now compatible with the Traktor DJ iPad/iPhone application. Native Instruments notes that the controllers now offer physical control of every function in Traktor DJ, including Freeze Mode. To control this mode, the app seems to assign numbers to each region of the frozen section of the track, which then corresponds to the cue point buttons. Official Traktor support is not currently available however, the LC6000 is a USB MIDI controller and can be manually mapped to any DJ, DAW, or other software that supports MIDI mapping. Yes, the LC6000 works with an iPad using the Apple Camera Connection Kit. The LC6000 is officially supported by Algoriddim djay pro and will work with other DJ apps that offer manual MIDI mapping.
Yes, when used with DJ software, a single LC6000 can be used to control multiple software decks. Press Shift + Slip to activate deck select mode. Pads 1-4 will flash allowing you to choose any available deck.
Depending on how you set up your LC6000s with your Denon DJ Dual-Layered Media Players, you may want to swap the deck info box left or right. To do this, hold both the Shift and View buttons for 2 seconds. The moving waveform position cannot be swapped.
The Deck Select feature is for third-party software (Serato DJ, Virtual DJ, Algoriddim djay Pro). The LC6000 only ever controls layer B of a connected Dual-Layer Media Player and is not needed when used in standalone mode.
hey all, just updated the newest version of traktor onto my new macbook pro. i installed everything for my hercules dj rmx, drivers and all (it works fine in virtualdj) and proceeded to try and map it into traktor 2.1.2. i was able to find ".tsi" mappings, but none of them worked, even though i was able to select them in the device tab of the controller mapping in preferences, both input and output tabs read "n/a" instead of what all of the .pdfs i had read said should read "hercules".
so, i am wondering if the hercules mapping has not been modified for this version of traktor, in the event of which would it be faster to try and install (somehow) an older version of traktor, compatible with the mappings, or, am i just missing something small, yet crucial for the mappings to activate?

The DJ Conversion Utility converts hot cues, saved loops and beat grids from Native Instruments Traktor Pro to Pioneer's Rekordbox. Cues are stored both as hot cues as well as memory cues and keep their given names.
The converted folders and playlists in Rekordbox will appear identical to how they are in Traktor, with the nesting structure intact.

DJCU is the most elegant and easiest way to convert your Serato DJ crates to Rekordbox. There are 3 different variations for assigning cues and loops to Rekordbox's hot and memory banks.

The supported audio formats for the Rekordbox to Serato conversion are MP3, AIFF, FLAC, MP4 (=m4a), and WAV. I'm especially proud of WAV since it officially has no tagging mechanism grids are not converted to WAV.
iTunes/Music.app integration
This option is extremely powerful. It gives you the possibility to recreate in iTunes the folder/playlist(s) you have in your current DJ software. You can even sync your iOS devices with these playlists.
Denon Prime users:
The Denon Conversion Utility (DeCU) and it's companion apps can use the Rekordbox(DJCU).XML file DJCU creates as input. Without the need to go through Rekordbox.
