well i tried it out and somehow got it to build and then tried to
update eclipse with the "local archive" of the cal plugin, and then
tried "new cal module" in eclipse and got:

Problem Opening Wizard
The selected wizard ould not be started.
Reason:
Plug-in org.openquark.cal.eclipse.ui was unable to load class
oprg.openquark.cal.eclipse.ui.wizards.NewModuleWizard.
Bad version number in .class file

does that mean i have some e.g. java version incompatibility or
something? man i hate computers... :-)

oy veh.

hehe OK.

An idea is:

$ file ClassName.class

this will give you more information about the class version that you have.

One guess is that you are building with java 1.6 and your eclipse is java 1.5.

My 0.02 :)

on another note, ICE.sh isn't working for me out-of-the-box from the
command line (mac os x).
