I also just noticed that the Eclipse update site given me an "Access
forbidden" error:

For the former issue, I need to get around to reinstalling some svn
software on that server - though I'm thinking about rehosting the
sources anyway somewhere else... GitHub?

On the latter issue, the update directory had somehow got its file
permissions set to "no access" for everyone other than root. Not sure
how/when that happened, but I've fixed it now. All the subdirectories
seem to be OK.
