Dear UMC Immigrant Rights Family:
What a blessing it was to be all together last Saturday for our "Equipped for Every Good Work" immigration training event! The Immigration Task Force core members were very happy with the turnout of this event. What a success!
We could not have done it without you all. Many thanks to all of you who put so much time and energy and resources into making this training day happen. A BIG THANK YOU to Rev. Meile Koloto and Eveline Koloto who provided us with an abundance of good eats and great hospitality. You have modeled for our Annual Conference what it means to be radically hospitable!
And many many thanks to Bev and Hermann Schier and Judie Streeter, who did an excellent job keeping us organized with registration.
Stay tuned for the next step of our immigrant rights work. You will be hearing from us very shortly!
Peace of Christ,
Rev. Brenda Vaca

Pastor Brenda,
I would like to thank you and the core group for an excellent well presented workshop today. The workshop presented invaluable information to us that we can use in our various ministries to provide much needed support to the sojourner. Thank you again for your excellent leadership and for the invitation extended to BAIT/JFON to participate.
May God continue to bless your efforts on His behalf.
Peace In the Lord
P.S. I also would like to acknowledge and thank Pastor and Mrs. Koloto for acting as host and inviting us to their church -- we were treated like royalty. The hospitality and the food were excellent. Thank you Lupe, Esther, Mele, and Liva (and everyone else) for your gracious support. God Bless you all.
Belinda Robinson,
Co-Chair BAIT/JFON
