Take part in April 6 National Faith Immigration Conference CallDear Mary,
On April 6 at 4 pm EST, where will you be? Plan on taking part in our next National Faith Immigration Conference Call!
The call-in number is 800-920-7487 and the code is 76723736.
The movement to welcome our immigrant neighbors and speak out boldly to Congress about the need to reform our broken immigration system continues to grow stronger among faith communities throughout the United States. Following the February mobilization of more than 170 prayer vigils across the nation, we are gearing up for, I hope, more than 120 Neighbor to Neighbor in-district meetings with Members of Congress.
Don’t miss your opportunity to hear all that is happening in faith communities throughout the United States. You'll learn ways for you and your place of worship to participate in the movement.
We will hear a legislative update on what is happening in D.C., gain necessary tips for the Neighbor to Neighbor visits, hear about what is happening in other immigrants’ rights communities, and what is planned for the summer and fall. You'll also hear about a powerful opportunity to commemorate the Postville raid one year ago this May.
Our next National Faith Conference Call is Monday April 6 at 4 pm EST. The call-in number is 800-920-7487 and the code is 76723736.I hope you and your church will join us.
In Christ,
Bill Mefford
