By His Grace,
Joy Davis

To our English Station Parents,

We are so blessed at Christian Academy with leaders who have the highest priorities for our students, their education experience, safety and stewardship.

One continuous topic for evaluation is to make sure our athletics facilities provide not only exceptional opportunities for performance, but also the balance of unquestionable safety for our students.

After lengthy evaluation and thanks to generous donations, we are excited to announce that, beginning this week, we are installing a new AstroTurf field at our English Station Campus.

This field incorporates the highest level of safety (keeping a lower surface temperature while eliminating the use of Crumb Rubber which has been the subject of some health investigation) and performance (with a tighter density pile and shock absorbent pad).  This is truly a state-of-the-art design and one which will provide years of support for our athletes.

This multi-team field will be home to our football, field hockey and men’s and women’s lacrosse teams as well as provide the venue for other events and activities.

We will hold a ground-breaking ceremony with student representatives and our teams on Wednesday, May 18, at 3:30 p.m.  You are invited to attend.

We are scheduled to complete installation by mid-July.

As always, we are grateful to God for His guidance and provision through our generous donors, supporters and the school system.  We are also so blessed by a praying and discerning leadership that guides us through considerations and decisions that allow us to put our students first in all we do.

We will keep you posted on the field’s progress and we look forward to seeing you all at our first home game this fall!

For His Glory,

Tim Greener
Superintendent
Christian Academy School System
