I hope you are having a good week.

Here are the notes from our meeting.

2/13 Meeting Notes - 6:16

Fundraising

- We are selling Wurster themed stickers on Feb. 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

- Setup : Tables by the refuse bins, need a cashbox, put APX letters on the table

- Possibly have a suggestion box during the fundraiser for future merchandise

- Next fundraiser will be Feb. 28

- Depending on success of Feb. 14 fundraiser we will make more sticker designs and branch into other types of merchandise such as apparel

Philanthropy

- Siri found the Momentum Expo, an event through the Ed Roberts Campus

- Event involves meeting and talking to people with disabilities and checking people into the event

- This would be on Apr. 4

- Someone from pledge team needs to sign up to be a Berkeley Project site leader for the pledge class.

- Deadline is Feb. 18

- The CED Career Fair is this Thursday, Feb. 15

- We are co-hosting the Career Fair; sign up for a shift here

Professional Development

- We'd like to have a Portfolio/Resume workshop and review
- We'll reach out to some alumni if they’d be available to help


Professional Committee

- Planning the end of year Faculty Student Social

- Looking to have Prof. Nicholas de Monchaux be a speaker

- Need a specific topic for the speakers

- Need to start planning for a date to book the lobby and Wurster 112

Design Committee

- Come up with new designs for stickers

- Send Victoria your ideas
- Add branding on stickers like EthiCal does to help build our presence 

Active Dues

- Kappas have to pay for this semesters dues
- $85 per semester
- $12.5 a month goes to nationals
- $22.50 for chapter dues
- Victoria wants dues in by Feb. 28

Internal/External Commitee

- Retreat will be Apr. 7

- We need to find ideas for plans

- White Rose is planned for Mar. 5

- We are looking to book the Tilden Center in MLK

- Discussing the possibility of bringing a plus one 

- This will increase our expenses for the event

Firm tour

- Emma is working with Thomas Muchnick to schedule a firm tour of Gensler
- Possible dates and times are 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on:

- Mar. 16

- Apr. 6, 13, 20

Pledging

- Pledge meeting will be at 9:15 p.m.

- The pin-in ceremony will follow the meeting at 10:00 p.m 

- If you're not busy please attend

- Mid-court will be on Mar. 16

- We need to start contacting alumni to see if they can attend
