Scholarship update: Rene will be visiting the chapter this week and giving them a check for $750. So far the scholarship has raised $575, but we do have some slush in the bank account. We can either keep the scholarship open and push it out another week or so, or just cover the difference using our alumni dues. Thoughts?

And yeah--we should start talking about the reunion. What do you guys think our budget should be and how much can we contribute?

I don't mind throwing in some of my own money so that we can have a decent looking event

Is there any way we can get the check to Rene? I don't mind picking it up from Kelly tonight (around 7? Or 10?), sign it and bring it to Rene's place whenever he is home. 

It would be more professional to have our CAA check presented instead of a personal check. It's also less representative of the fact that it's from a group of alum, though it's totally great you're willing to go and write the check Rene. Thank you!

And Kelly and Rene are you available around 7 or 10?

I'll be out in the city tonight, but tmr around 8? Do we have enough money in the bank ($750) to write a check from the account? Since we are running the donation for an extra week, I don't know if we have access to the $575 that's currently raised.

As for the amount of money in the bank account, I think we're able to withdraw any money raised at any time...is that right Sarah?

Hey guys,

Has the email been sent out yet? We're reaching the two week notice mark, so we should probably send soon. 

Also, I think we might need some help inviting the most recent batch of grads; I can't remember everyone off the top of my head. Stacy, would you be able to take a quick glance at the invite list on Facebook and see if we missed anyone?

Finally--I know we're doing a potluck, but let's try to cover the basics, at least. I'm going to make a spreadsheet for food so we can cover all our bases/not overlap. It's going to be right --> here <-- I'm assuming we are sticking to a brunch theme, so I put in some brunchy things.

Add some food suggestions or what you want to bring if you can!!

Many of us haven't had a chance to catch up since we graduated from the days of "living" in good old Wurster, so we thought we should have a reunion!
This event is open to all who have ever been a part of our lovely Callimachus chapter. (:

The reunion will be hosted at Kelly's new apartment (close to the 19th St. Bart station), and will be potluck-style so don't miss out on the great food, familiar faces, and a fun time!

Hey guys, looking forward to this weekend!

If you haven't yet added anything, here's the spreadsheet for food to bring--I can fill in any gaps. If you want to bring something I already have covered, feel free to change it to your name and I'll provide something else! 

I think we have 11 confirmed on FB and 4 maybes (bleh) but I know for sure that Nhi is coming too.

Somewhat bad news--Ken broke his leg and he's having surgery on Friday, so he'll be sitting around in bed recovering on Saturday for sure.

He's okay with people coming, but hope it's OK with you guys that he's just going to be sitting around. He'll be inside the room, so it shouldn't be too bad. What do you guys think?

On a side note, I thought it would be fun to cycle some old APX photos on my TV during the event--I'll be making an album later and seeing if you guys have any good pics!

Great idea. We can share a Google drive folder for now and I can add some 2014-15 photos after work today.

Nah, I don't think so. I figured out an easy way to Chromecast photos directly from the drive folder, but it's not perfect, so if you have any better ideas, I could use some tech help.

Other than that, just come as soon as you can so we can hang out! :)
