I've got a new song out. It's called "Stable Genius" - you can check it
out here:
https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13686314

It features the usual cast of characters, but this time I got a new real live Big Muff fuzzbox (off
ebay) ;-)

Superior 3 Yamaha kit
Trilian Bass
Kontakt stuff
Real Strat and Tele - with S-Gear and some Mercuriall Spark (Marshall Amps) amp sims.
still done in SONAR...

<shameless plug>
Don't forget - CDs (including my newest one "Pull the Other One")
are also available at https://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/JohnBraner
and all the normal streaming services.

Thanks for listening G'bo!

I was playing with some plugins, and then I got the idea to try the "real thing".
I love the sound of a Big Muff Pi too - so I got one off ebay (there are loads on there every day)

I got the green one - with the "tone wicker", just because that was the one for the best price at
the time. I don't care about the tone wicker - it's just a normal Big Muff - like the red one.
I don't like the soviet ones as much either - they seem a bit darker to me. I like the "bite" of the
original ones ;-)

I noticed there are some brand new op amp ones now too. Maybe Big Muffs are making a(nother)
resurgence ;-)

It just adds a little more top end when you turn it on.
There's also a switch to bypass the eq section - which makws it like the original Big Muff

Big Muff doesn't do "not using heavy fuzz" ;-)

Oh - that's weird - I see it over there ;-)
I'm glad I noticed you here (I hardly ever look in the coffeehouse)

The Big Muff is cool - isn't it? ;-)
Thanks again for the listen!

It seems it depends on which server I use. I see it on one, but not the
other.
And yea, I just love that Big Muff sound!!!
