- in Cakewalk: Source = Dakota Left A:7-8, Port = A:1-2.
- On the 01V: swapped channels 1-8 and 17-24. (Global Swap)
- Guitar is plugged into channel 7 on the 01V (Also tried 8, just in
case...)
- SEL channel 7, went to VIEW, selected "D"...
- Armed the track in Cakewalk
- Everything seems fine in Dakota's Control Panel (3 green squares, sync to
internal and 01v is wordlocked to Option I/O)
..... but still don't get signal in Cakewalk...
I see signal on 01v though, channel 23 (from Option I/O window).
I also made sure "Playback device" and "Record device" within Cake's Audio
settings showed Dakota, rather than my Turtle Beach card...
I *must* be missing something, but I just can't see what and I'm really
getting frustrated... !!
(As if it could help, I have Cakewalk rebooting my entire system on 1
launches out of 3!!! But I guess this is another story, from what I've read
here about 8.04 crashing problems... Let's concentrate on the important
matter... I'll do like many after and simply reinstall 8.03.)
Thanks again,
