Sync recording in Reaper

I positing this question for a a friend who has recently purchased Reaper.
He's looking to transfer some sequences from his Korg workstation into
Reaper.

I've done this a thousand times between my Korg and Sonar using the Midi
Sync mode. (In this mode Sonar waits for the Play button on the Korg to be
pressed before recording).

I'm sure a program as sophisticated as Reaper can do this....I just can't
find it.

Right now he's trying to do it manually which is a pita.

Yeah well and don't you ever forget who told you ReaRoute was there :-D

That feature alone has been worth the price of Reaper many times over
for me.
