Is there a slick way to backup big .bun files by spanning them over
multiple CDRs
Or
How do people out there backup projects using CDRs when the project
results in songs with big .bun's.

Hi, David

You can zip your buns. I have some 800Mb > buns and they compress to 500
to 600Mb.

I have been using this method for months without any problem. All the
buns decompress and open flawlessly.

I don't know if the zip software accepts spanning over multiple CDRs. I
haven't tried it yet....

Regards,

Roberto Prado.

You can use f.e. WaveZip to pack your Bun-File
(ca. 30-40% rate)

EasyCD Creator Deluxe ($99 @ CompUSA) includes a backup app called Take2.
It gives you a "File System Tree" to select what you want to backup and will
span multiple
CD-R's or CD-RW's.

Dave,

I started a thread on this some time ago - the really obvious answer came
from Frank Basille, as I recall - really mad me feel stupid, too. Just split
off some of your tracks to a new file, make several buns (all which fit on
a single cd), then you can open and combine them at your convenience.
