Hi all,

I participate in the french translation of the cookbook 1.2.

The problem appears in the Blog tutorial here :
http://book.cakephp.org/view/335/create-a-posts-controller , and in
the following sections.

In the code example, you use findAll() method, but in the explanation
bellow, you quote find('all') .

Is the blog tutorial for CakePHP 1.2 really completed ? Because I
started to translate it.

Thank !

Hi,

The Book is a wiki you can login and edit - I just corrected that error.

Cheers

...not to be confused with wiki's many folks are familiar with where
anyone's edits show up immediately, though. CookBook edits have to be
reviewed and approved and may be modified prior to publishing, plus
there are no diffs or versions published...not saying that's bad or
good, just clarifying as many people, when they hear 'wiki', they
think setups like wikipedia and the like...

Ok, thank for your responses :)

But, if the cookbook is often updated, how translators can monitoring
updates in order to update also translations ?
It will be unthinkable to often check for update, no ?

True,

@Andy - RSS feeds for recent comments and recent changes would be great...

I can help with the code but getting RSS feeds in 1.2 is so trivial
that it probably would save you time if did it yourself :)

Cheers
