I do have a problem with my jDownloader Docker from ich777. I set up an Open VPN client on my Unraid server, and routet the jdownloader trough the VPN docker. It all worked now for a few weeks, but I had the problem that jDownloader was stopping every once in a while and I had to manually start the docker, even though it was on autostart.
Use the command jdownloader to start JDownloader. When you have just installed JDownloader, this will run the update tool to download some required files for JDownloader, else this will start JDownloader directly.
By default jdownloader will create a subdirectory for each file you download in your destination folder. To stop this behaviour go to Settings > Packagiser and untick the predefined rules as desired.
Preferences for individual sites can be found by going to Settings > Plugins. For example, by changing settings on the youtube.com plugin you could tell jdownloader to only download the audio from YouTube links.
I am having the problem to get into my jdownloader2 installed on docker through the web:port. I simply follow the code below and it works fine (of course I adjusted the patch etc.) but at the end even if it is running I can't get into it using the port 5800. Do I need to do something else in this code? I have read that the login details may be necessary but I want to avoid it and use it just within my internal network.
Wait until the installer asks you for your MyJdownloader account settings and enter them.
Wait until everything is loaded and the terminal halts at "update progress". Terminate with CTRL + C.
Now we setup the autostart in "jdownloader.service":
