The succeeding intermezzo is in F minor, and is andante. A verygraciously pretty piano piece it is, and well within the grasp of amoderate technic. The melodic material is copious and rich, and theharmonies very grateful. For example, play the F sharp section and thefollowing measures after the double bar in F sharp major; how genial,what resource in modulatory tactics, what appreciation of diversity intreatment!
