I am a Ph.D. in French linguistics and will write a book about the
Cajun culture and language of Port Arthur, one of the places that the
Cajun people migrated to in the 1940's and 1950's for the oil boom.
Is there anyone who would like to help me interview the French people
in Port Arthur?
