Webdriver wire protocol

We are planning to use caius in our tcl framework. but i read Json wire protocol is obsolete, so any plan to upgrade caius with respect to webdriver wire protocol?

Hi,

the last time I checked, the WebDriver spec was still very much a draft. Current versions of Selenium 2 speak the old wire protocol. Or at least I haven't had a problem so far. I suspect that Selenium 3 will implement the official WebDriver spec, and from what I have read it will be in large parts compatible with the old wire protocol.

Thanks for this information Tobias, and i believe web driver protocol is just about few changes in the API links which can be changed easily?
