Execution without starting the server

Hi,

I want to understand if we are executing everything on local machine, do we still need to start the selenium server?

As we do not do anything like this in python or java,example below:-

from selenium import webdriver

from selenium.webdriver.common.keys import Keys

driver = webdriver.Chrome("C:\Selenium\chromedriver.exe")

please carefully read the instructions in the tutorial:

Caius relies on Selenium Server to launch the browser.
