I'm new to using Zoom and I need some help figuring out how to download meeting recordings to my Mac. I've participated in several important meetings, and I'd like to review the recordings at my own pace. However, I'm not sure where to find these files or how to properly download the meeting recording video on my Mac.

Could anyone guide me through the process of accessing and saving Zoom recordings? Are there specific settings or steps I need to follow to ensure the recordings are downloaded in a usable format? Additionally, I would appreciate any tips on managing these files efficiently on my Mac.

The most straightforward way to download Zoom recordings is directly from the Zoom app or website, provided the meeting host has given permission to access the recordings. There are also other ways to download zoom meeting recording from shared link.

Once the meeting ends, Zoom will process the recording, and then it's stored in the Zoom cloud. Now, here's where it gets fun. You'll need to log in to your Zoom account on the web. Head to the Zoom website and sign in.

After logging in, navigate to the "Recordings" section. You should see all your recorded meetings there. Find the one you want, and there should be a button to download it. Click that, and you will download Zoom meeting recording video on Mac.

Now, here's a little tip. Zoom recordings come in two flavors: MP4 and M4A. The MP4 is what you want if you're looking for the video. The M4A is just audio. So, make sure you're downloading the MP4 if you want the full video experience.

If you're looking for a method to download zoom meeting recording video on Mac, you can try using online cloud storage services where the recordings are stored or a screen recording software. Here's how:

Please note that using screen recording software may result in lower video quality compared to directly downloading the recording file. Additionally, make sure you have permission to record and download the content you're capturing.

In my experience, when I receive a shared link for a Zoom meeting recording, I click on the link to open it in my web browser. This typically takes me to a Zoom page where the video is hosted. If downloading is allowed, there's usually a "Download" button below the video. I simply click that button, and the download starts automatically. If there's no download option, it means the host hasn't enabled downloading for participants. In that case, I might reach out to the host to request access to the recording file.

The Summit County Court of Common Pleas conducts some hearings using remote technology. The court uses Zoom for these connections. A list of zoom hearing links for each judge is listed below. Before connecting to the court, you will obtain best results by downloading and installing the Zoom meetings application for your computer, tablet, or phone device. For phones, you can install the app from the Apple app store (Iphone), or the Google Play store (android). For desktop or laptop computers, you can download the latest zoom app at

Parties are reminded that Zoom video conferences being conducted by the court are an extension of the court and appropriate location as well as appearance is required. Participants should be in a quiet location without distractions.

Parties participating in or observing court hearings via Zoom are not allowed to record, stream, or otherwise reproduce the audio or video from the event. This includes screenshots as well as the use of screen recorders and photo, video, or audio recording devices. Violation may result in sanctions and/or restrictions on future participation in Zoom hearings.

It is advised that parties who are participating identify themselves appropriately. Zoom will identify participants by the name on the device they are calling from or the name on the Zoom account, if applicable, that is being used. This can include the phone number of the device which will be shown to other participants. Please ensure that the name you are known by in respect to the case is the name that displays. If you are a member of the public you may wish to choose "Public" as your name. If you need assistance in changing the name that appears during your hearing please ask the clerk.

Desktop PCs and Laptops: Go to the Zoom Web Site (zoom.us). Click on "Join a Meeting". Join using the Meeting ID provided by the court. If prompted enter the zoom passcode provided by the court.

Tablets and Phones (Apple and Android): Install the free Zoom App from the App Store or Play Store prior to the call. At the time of the call launch the Zoom app and join using the Meeting ID provided by the court and if provided, the zoom passcode when prompted.

Please be aware that all court Zoom conferences utilize a "Waiting Room" feature and participants will be brought into the conference when their case is ready. Your case may not be called at the exact time on the notice depending on availability of all parties and other scheduled events.

If you would like to test your equipment or connection prior to the event, please email Circui...@Oakgov.com or Probat...@Oakgov.com or contact the chambers of the assigned judge or hearing officer.

Zoom works best with high-speed internet. Cellular only connections for video conferencing are not recommended for court events. Please check the internet and, if applicable, the cellular connection strength prior to your event. Please view the map for Public WiFi Hotspot locations in Michigan.
