The Canadian Association for Information Science (CAIS) Board invites nominations/applications for several awards to celebrate the great work that is being done in the Canadian LIS community. The following awards are available for this year.
Master’s research award
To recognize the excellence of a substantial work of master’s-level research and its contribution to the information field.Doctoral dissertation award
To recognize the excellence of the doctoral dissertation of a recent PhD graduate and of their contribution to the information field.Emerging leader award
To recognize an early-career researcher or practitioner who has contributed to the advancement of the information field in Canada or internationally through their research, practice, or service.Career achievement award
To recognize the exceptional achievements of a researcher or practitioner who has greatly contributed to the advancement of the information field in Canada or internationally.
