The Nova Scotia Literacy Survey is currently underway, being conducted by
Literacy Nova Scotia in partnership with Dalhousie University’s Department of
Information Science and Yorkville University.
If you have direct experience or involvement (within the last five years or
currently) in paid or unpaid literacy-related work in Nova Scotia, we warmly
invite you to share your perspective. Your insights are valuable in helping to
inform more flexible, equitable, geographically relevant, and culturally
considerate approaches to understanding literacy across Nova Scotia.
The survey:
- Includes 25 questions
- Takes approximately 15-20
minutes to complete
- Is anonymous (name is not
required)
If you have not yet had the opportunity to
participate, please consider completing the survey. If you have already
completed the survey, please accept our sincere thanks. We greatly appreciate
your time and contribution.
We would also greatly appreciate your help in sharing this survey with
colleagues, partners, or networks who may be eligible to participate. Hearing
from a wide range of literacy-related professionals and volunteers across Nova
Scotia is essential to ensuring diverse perspectives are represented.
The
survey will close on May 1, 2026, so we encourage you to
respond at your earliest convenience.
