Method:
Put berries into a heatproof pitcher. Bring sugar, water and crème de cassis just to a simmer in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour syrup into heatproof pitcher and let stand 5 minutes. Add wine and lemon juice and stir mixture well. Chill covered until ready to serve. Serve over ice.
Method:

Fill a large, wide pot halfway with water and bring to a boil. Add the vinegar and reduce the heat until the water in the pan has no more bubbles.
Very close to the surface of the water, crack the eggs and gently drop each egg into the water. Cook the eggs for 3 to 4 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove the eggs from the pan and place in a bowl of cold water. Reserve the eggs in the cold water and reserve the poaching liquid to reheat the eggs. If you are poaching the eggs a day ahead you can reheat the eggs in new water.
Toast the English muffins. Place a couple of thinly slices of smoked salmon on each English muffin. Top with three crisp steamed asparagus and then top with a poached egg. Top with the Hollandaise Sauce.
To re- warm eggs that have been poached ahead:
Warm up the egg poaching liquid (or a pan of new water if you poached ahead) and place the eggs in the water for 1 minute or until the eggs are warm but not cooking any further. Using a slotted spoon, remove the eggs from the warm water, blot on a clean paper or tea towel.

You should think about how much time you plan to spend on the ship. Whilst you could easily drink five cocktails by the pool and then a couple of glasses of wine in the evening on a sea day, how much would you drink if you were off the ship from 9 am until 6 pm most days?
I am going on my first cruise in February and found your information very helpful thank you. But I have one question. Is there a limit in time how many drinks/baverages I can order. For example I drink a lot of water during the day so I will at least have 6 bottles of water. Can I put them into the fridge and save vor excursions? If I am having a soda can i order another right after 10 minutes or to I have to wait a certain time. If a drink is over 12 Dollars to I have the entire price or just the difference. Drink is 15 Dollars so do i have to pay 3 Dollars or 15?
