The Agri Minister Sri Purnendu Bose visited DRCSC
office on 14th August 2014. We also invited Dr. B.Mondal, VC, BCKV and Dr.
P.Bhattacharjee, Ex-Director, NOOF, Govt. Of India.
Prof. T.K.Bose, the retired Professor of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vidyalaya, was also present and he was one of the main initiator of the meeting.
Ardhenduda, Executive member of DRCSC presented DRCSC's work & perspectives. The Minister
had also dialogue with the farmers from Sunderbans, Purulia &
Bankura.
The Minister also stated that the govt. is plannng
to do something robust in the field of sustainable agriculture from the
perspective of small & marginal farmers.
He also said that the govt. requires help frp from organisations like DRCSC.
