seems not to have been applied to source
checked out 2016.12.27 around 20:30 Eastern US time via
> git clone --recursive https://bitbucket.org/cafu/cafu.git Cafu
A manual patch to my local copy,
adding std:: before the calls to abs() on lines 5846 & 5848 in
Cafu/ExtLibs/wxWidgets/src/stc/scintilla/src/Editor.cxx
fixed the problem.

My system is Linux Kubuntu
4.8.0-32-generic #34-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 13 14:30:43 UTC 2016 x86_64
> g++ --version
g++ (Ubuntu 6.2.0-5ubuntu12) 6.2.0 20161005
