Does the solverstate save the path for the caffemodel at the moment of their creation?
This forces the .caffemodel to stay in the directory it was originally created.

When moving the snapshot files to a different folder and resuming training, caffe quits with a message that the .caffemodel file was not found in the old path.

The solverstate records a relative path -- see https://github.com/BVLC/caffe/issues/248 for details. Feel free to comment on the possible workarounds.

Hi npit,

I'm also experiencing same problem. Is there any solution? or should I start training from beginning?

I didn't find any solution, I never had to train again though.
This is a nuisance only if you pause training, move stuff around, and resume with different folders.
