Understanding and creating new .prototxt file

Hi,

I'm getting started with the caffe. Can anyone please explain(or) provide any resource about the prototxt file.Like how to create a network model using .prototxt file and how it will parsed in caffe framework and construct a c++ classes to the layers ?
