Hello there,

I'm new to Caffe and i have a couple of questions to ask, hope you can help me,

I downloaded:

- vs 2013
- Caffe  for windows
- Cuda 7.5 for windows
- Cudnn 7
- boost 1_61_0

what i want is to do Deep learning using Cuda not OpenCV, and C++  on Windows platform,

Is there anything else i need for this ?

Do I work on a normal c++ project not a cuda one ?

and if there's any other  useful tips i'll be thankful,

I've been stuck with the installation part for two days now :( , so plz HELP,

Regards,

If you're building the CUDA code, you need the build extensions installed by the CUDA SDK in your project to build the .cu files.

I found this repo https://github.com/terrychenism/caffe-windows-cudnn to be relatively easy because it includes the Windows x64 binaries for all the necessary support packages in a separate package download. Look for the "here" link.

leveldbd.lib
libopenblas.lib
cublas.lib
cublas_device.lib
libprotobufd.lib
libglog.lib
hdf5.lib
hdf5_hl.lib
lmdb.lib
libgflags.lib

This also uses OpenCV, which is a different purpose package than the Cuda SDK.
AFAIK, Caffe uses cuDNN and other kernels for the CUDA code.
