Makefile:554: recipe for target '.build_release/lib/libcaffe.so.1.0.0-rc3' failed

I'm trying to compile caffe to run Faster R-CNN but I got an error when I run 'make all j4'

The error is:

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:554: recipe for target '.build_release/lib/libcaffe.so.1.0.0-rc3' failed
make: *** [.build_release/lib/libcaffe.so.1.0.0-rc3] Error 1

Please help me! I'm a newbie in deep learning so I don't know more. Thanks so much!

You have to install caffe and give its location in the makefile.config

After installation, you added the pythonpath in the bashrc. So after that whenever you try to use caffe must be from that installation directory where the path you have given In bashrc .
