Create lmdb datatype

I have a dataset which all images are not in a single folder, they have been separated by some folders ans subfolders, however in the tutorial on convert_imageset I see that all training images must be placed in a single folder, and the path to the images be passed to the comvert_imageset. Should I follow the same procedure? That is I should copy all separated images into a single folder?
