PASCAL VOC fcn-8s mean parameter

In train.prototxt the mean for the Imagenet is given as input. Why is that?

If its for normalization then why its imagenet mean where the data it uses is PASCAL VOC11?

The means of ILSVRC and PASCAL are close enough. If it makes you happier you can take the PASCAL mean instead.
