Data input to benchmark models using caffe time

Hello,

I am trying to benchmark the time for my own models.

Since the

build/tools/caffe time

doesn't take any input to an image or any data, what does it use to calculate the time?

Is there any such tool provided by Caffe to benchmark on Python?

Should running it on Python using Python's time functions give the same results?
