What is a *.bet.pickle file for?

I'm running the "Brewing ImageNet Tutorial" and there's a file named "imagenet.bet.pickle" in my caffe/data/ilsvrc12 directory.  Anyone know what that's for, or what to do with it?

It's obviously a python object serializer:

But I don't know which data it contains.  Shouldn't the lmdb files house the tree structure for the image files?

The pickle file is used for the web_demo "Maximally Accurate" results (in contrary to maximally specific)
