Convert from SDLTB into Excel

Hello CTers,

I am wondering if Cafetran can help to convert a sdltb file into excel. Does anybody know?

In case the answer is no, is there a way I can do this on a Mac platform? (not using Parallels, no nothing that can emulate Windows)

Hi Elisa,

You might achieve it in CafeTran as follows:

1. Import sdltb file to Memory (via the menu Memory > Import > Import SDLTB termbase.

2. Export the created Memory to Glossary (which is a tab-delimited file) via the menu Memory > Export > Export segments to glossary.

3. Open the created tab-delimited glossary file in Excel.
