Corrupted text in CafeTran?

Hello all,

I'm using CafeTran Espresso on a mac to translate an article with in-text references. The first few references were fine (showed up in the target pane), but further down in the document they start to show as code (random letters). This continues for the rest of the doc and I have no idea why. Has anyone had a similar problem/able to help?

I have tried deleting the project from CafeTran, renaming the file (which has no corrupted text as far as I can see) and restarting the computer. However, in CafeTran the problem persists.

Hello Joseph,

It is hard to tell without knowing the details. Is this a Word file or after some conversion such as OCR? You can submit a ticket at the official support and attach the file there:
