Hi
I know there's the possibility to do that, convert a TMX glossary to CSV
format with CT, but can't find out how.
Any tipps?

TIA + Cheers

Hi Wolfgang,

Load a project and the corresponding TM. Create a new glossary and open it. Choose Memory | Export |

Adapt the glossary if necessary, e.g. by replacing the TABs with commas.

Hmm, I get:

Igor?

Alternatively:

1. Open TMX in edit mode via the PM.

2. Choose Project | Save as | HTML.

3. Open HTML in Excel and save as CSV.

Hello Hans,

Both methods should work fine.

Hello Wolfgang,

I just checked the following:

1. Run CT.
2. Press Open Project... button to load your TMX for edition.
3. Select you TMX.
4. After it finishes loading (you should see segments in the grid pane),
go to the menu Project | Save project as... and choose HTML.

Thanks Igor, but no, that's not what I want. I have no use for my project in HTML format.
What I want to do is to convert my TMX glossary from TMX format to tab separated C  SV format, import the csv file into Excel, check the file and import it into another CAT tool.

Cheers
Wolfgang

Look carefully at the step 2. Here, you choose not a regular translation
project but your TMX file.

After saving the TMX to HTML, open HTML in Excel and save as CSV.
