Hey everyone,

Here's a short mail of event! It's dreary outside and I don't have it in me to be funny. But if you think of a nice joke, just forward it to me.

- So, listen, tonight we have our monthly Mythos night. It's a night that's important to me, because the ancient folk tales are the narratives with which storytelling was born. It's an exciting line up around a thrilling theme: Betrayal. And it's free. Come, listen, have a soup. All the good stuff. Doors 19.00, betrayal at 20.00.

- On Saturday you we bring back the Orignial Mezrab Comedy Night. They will make up for all the jokes this mail lacks. Grab your ticket here!

- Coming Tuesday (Oct 8) we have another storytelling event, this one guided by Chidi! He creates an informal setting in which those who didn't know they were storytellers open up and share! It really is a heartwarming night.

Then there's two more very special nights coming next week.

On Thursday (oct 10) we have two shows of what is widely considered one of the best storytellers of Europe: Raphael Rodan. Yes, our very own Raphael (co-founder Mezrab Storytelling School). He made a show that deals with ancient stories and ancestral traumas, based on a dark discovery he made about the house where he used to live in Amsterdam. The show is witty, well written and thought provoking. This is a very exclusive show, with only a few tickets sold per performance! Read more and grab your tickets here for the 19.00 show! And here for the 21.00 show!

Then on Saturday (Oct 12) we have an Anatolian Psych Night! We bring you the Istanbul born and raised Electro Hafiz plus support act for an unforgettable night deserving copious amounts of Raki. Tell your groovy friends. Tickets include a student discount option!

Not too bad eh? See you at the events!

PS, OK homework. You were always sitting on the fence to do a storytelling course? Now's the time to sign up. Check out what we offer on www.mezrabstorytellingschool.nl . And then open your calendar and mark the days of November 6-10, it's when the Amsterdam Storytelling Festival takes place this year in Podium Mozaiek!
