Hey everyone,
That line of song in the subject is what my kids sing when we cycle them to the daycare. Of course, they are under the cover of the electric family bike while I'm being rained on, but it's touching they think about me. Or do they? Who knows, three year olds can be assholes, and they don't understand that in songs rain is a metaphor. But you do (I'm assuming no one receiving this mail is three).
So, tonight we will drive away the metaphorical rain from your heart (while giving you warmth and shelter for the actual rain) with a FREE comedy open mic! Expect a mix of beginners and more experienced comedians trying out material. Doors 19.00, comedy 20.00. Donations are appreciated.
Tomorrow (Tuesday), also free, we have another edition of Pearls on a String in which we mix stories, improv theater and music with some of the most talented folks in the biz. I'm not sure if I am allowed to call it that, but I guess I just did. Doors 19.00, comedy 20.00. Donations are appreciated
