Hey everyone,

That line of song in the subject is what my kids sing when we cycle them to the daycare. Of course, they are under the cover of the electric family bike while I'm being rained on, but it's touching they think about me. Or do they? Who knows, three year olds can be assholes, and they don't understand that in songs rain is a metaphor. But you do (I'm assuming no one receiving this mail is three).

So, tonight we will drive away the metaphorical rain from your heart (while giving you warmth and shelter for the actual rain) with a FREE comedy open mic! Expect a mix of beginners and more experienced comedians trying out material. Doors 19.00, comedy 20.00. Donations are appreciated.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), also free, we have another edition of Pearls on a String in which we mix stories, improv theater and music with some of the most talented folks in the biz. I'm not sure if I am allowed to call it that, but I guess I just did. Doors 19.00, comedy 20.00. Donations are appreciated

On Saturday March 1 one of those great improvisers is teaching another one day improvised storytelling courses. I'm talking about Raffi! It's a fun and educational afternoon to spend in the Mezrab. Get your tickets here.

Saturday March 1 we also have our main comedy night. Look at this delicious line up.

After this week there's some more highlights for you:

Tue March 4 / Mythos / Ancient stories brought to life!
Thr March 6 / Halim Al-Hakawati / The alter ego of Raffi brings you a fully improvised show of 1001 nights stories! / Tickets.
Sat March 8 / First ever Mezrab Busking party! / Two massive bands play accoustic, and you get to tip them, instead of buying tickets! Look here.
Thr March 20 / The first day of spring is the day in which we invite Armenian, Turkish and Kurdish musicians to play an intimate show of cross over melodies.
Sat March 22 / Mezrab storytelling Marathon! from 12.00 till 24.00. It's a yearly thing. Don't ask. Just come.

That's it! Yalla!
